When a dying wish intersects an art heist, you get Devious Intent. Trish and Dawn get wind of valuable art, devising a plan to steal it out from under the noses of a powerful couple, Evelyn and Donnie, in the process of divorce. Evelyn hires a professional, Harry, to kill her attorney, whose dying wish is to get his killer. Not the one who ordered the hit. The one who did it. Roy, a local mercenary, has drawn the job to honor that wish and kill Harry, who is now pursuing the same paintings as Trish and Dawn. At the end, some get the paintings and others get dead. Featuring top tier cast of regional talent including Marcus Lawrence, Chanda Rawlings, Russell Sage Patrick, Kathryn Andrea, and George Stover and featuring Linda Miller from King Kong Escapes and Carl Craig from Destroy All Planets. Film will make its screen debut Sept 19 at the Waynesboro Theatre and will join streaming channels later in the year.
